Summary
Remonstrance to the General Assembly, on behalf of the heirs and next of kin of Martin Dawson, against the Literary Fund petition, and the executors of Dawson who were seeking to apply residuary funds of this estate to fulfill several clauses in the will. The heirs claimed these clauses were void and cannot be the basis for assisting the education of the poor or building seminaries.
