Summary
1838 North Carolina resolutions condemning the United States Senate's action in expunging its records, the sub-treasury system, the failure to distribute funds from public lands according to federal populations, and the otherwise "wasteful extravagance" of the United States administration. These resolutions were transmitted to the governor and then House of Delegates.
Note
Letter of transmittal is from David Campbell, Executive Department, to the Speaker of the House of Delegates, and is dated February 6th, 1839.
