Summary
Letter of resignation from W.C. Rives, submitted to the House of Delegates, as he was unable to agree to the two resolutions which declared the President's dismissal and appointment of a Secretary of the Treasury as unconstitutional, and that deposits need be returned to the United States Banks and not the Bank of Virginia.
