Summary
Report, with amendments, of a Select Committee on United States Deposits, on the agreement entered into by the United States Secretary of the Treasury and the Bank of Virginia with respect to United States deposit. The committee passed several resolutions objecting to this agreement as well as the removal of federal deposits from the bank of the United States. The committee also objected to the ability of the United States, through various agents, of inspecting the bank's books and transactions.
