Summary
Report and resolutions of the General Assembly of Georgia, regarding the movements of the abolitionists of the north, submitted to the Virginia House of Delegates by Governor Tazewell on January 1, 1836. Also, includes a resolution, "That the district of Columbia, and the several territories of the United States, are the common property of the people of these states ..."

Letters of transmittal include: from Litt'n W. Tazell, Executive Department, to the Virginia House of Delegates, dated January 14th, 1836; from William Schley, Executive Department, Georga, to His Excellency the Governor of Virginia, dated 29th December 1835. Report in the House of Representatives id dated December 19th, 1835.
