Summary
February 14, 1862 communication from Governor John Letcher to the General Assembly as to whether Virginia be compensated for property the state purchased but later transferred to the Confederate States. Included were various documents from the Auditing Board, a resolution, and letters from the Acting Quartermaster General of Virginia.
