Summary
1849 answer of the President and Directors of the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad Company to the memorial of George Taylor and others which requested an appropriation for the extension of the Louisa Railroad to Richmond. This remonstrance asserted that the incorporation clauses, economic and other concerns should persuade the legislature not to endorse the prior petition.
