Relative to military lands.
"I have the honor to lay before the House of Delegates, a communication, just now made for that purpose by the agent employed on behalf of all persons who are entitled to entries made upon land warrants for military or naval services, on lands within the tract of country, the jurisdiction over which was afterwards ceded to Kentucky, bounded by the rivers Tennessee, Ohio, and Mississippi ; the said agency having been committed, pursuant to the duty enjoined upon the Executive, by the law March 5th, 1821, to John S. Herring, esquire, who now puts the General Assembly in possession of all the facts relating to the highly important subject of his mission"--Title page.
