Summary
Report of the House of Delegates Select Committee regarding the defense of Craney Island, Virginia, when attacked by the British forces on June 22, 1813. The committee reviewed historical, official and other evidence in order to determine whether any officials should be award some testimonial for their skill and gallantry; five resolutions noted the various contributions and thanks. Of note, an appendix listed and contained fifteen documents used in this report.
