In calculating the number [63] of the first volume issued under this name, the latest edition of the early reports and of Winston have been taken as the standard, and the volumes have been counted as now bound, and not as originally published."--Lawyer's reference manual by C.C. Soule.
"Secretary of State authorized to reprint volumes whenever supply is exhausted ... Sets are usually made up of many editions, the same volume sequence being retained in all editions."--Official publications of the Colony and State of North Carolina, 1749-1939 by M.L. Thornton.
