Summary
The Legislation on copyright of the Russian Federation provides, in English and Russian, the text of Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation regulating copyright. The English text is available online. The Russian text is available by link from the online text to a PDF document. Offering both languages provides the bilingual user with an easy understanding of the concepts of the Russian copyright legislation from the point of view of an American attorney. The current provisions on copyright of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation are effective from January 1, 2008 as amended by Federal law of February 21, 2010 No 13-FZ, Federal law of February 24, 2010 No 17-FZ, Federal law of October 4, 2010, and Federal law of December 8, 2011 No 422-FZ.
