Request to incorporate the authors into a proprietorship by the title of "Merchants Proprietors of Carolina." The proposals would include all of South and North Carolina, with all the rights, powers and hereditaments as were granted to the past Lord Proprietors by King Charles II, except for the civil and military governmental powers. The proposal discussed raising stock, settling the land with Protestants, cultivating crops for export, as well as other issues.
