Includes a petition dated Newbury, March 17, 1779, signed by Jacob Balley [i.e. Bayley] and Davenport Phelps, and an extract of the proceedings of the Cornish Convention, both proposing that the inhabitants of the New Hampshire grants unite with the state of New Hampshire.
Imprint supplied by McCorison. Hanover, N.H., was in 1778 and 1779, acknowledged by its inhabitants to be Dresden, Vt.
