"This translation is based on the official French text published in the Journal Officiel de la Répubilque soudanaise, Second Year, Number 62, 1 September 1960. Concerning the annotations of amended Articles: small grammatical alterations have not been indicated as amendments. The insertion of the new Art. 30 required the consequential renumbering of previous Arts. 30-52. At Art. 41, the reference to Arts. 37 and 38 has been emended to refer to Arts. 39 and 40."--Title page verso.
