Summary
1826 Preamble and Resolutions, offered by Mr. Goggin to the Virginia General Assembly regarding the physical incapacity of Judge John Brown. The resolutions vacated his position as Chancellor in the Staunton, Wythe, and Greenbrier district, and found him entitled to some retirement money. Document included with the Journal of the Virginia House of Delegates. Of note, the 1825-1826 Journal of the House of Delegates records Judge Brown's February 10, 1826 response.
