December 29, 1681 letter of Philip Calvert, Chancellor of Maryland, to Colonel Henry Meese in London. In the letter, he described the trouble in Maryland, led by Capt. Josias Fendall, a former governor of the province, and Capt. John Coode, leading to their imprisonment.
